Volunteer as a Library Reader!

VolunQuest invites foreign residents and visitors to participate as library readers in the primary public schools. Come and read to the students during their 30 minute recess/lunch period at the schools where we teach. Library Time gives our students authentic opportunities to practice their new language skills and interact with native English speakers, while offering you a safe and appropriate way to visit and interact with the local children. The students adore our library readers and often flock to meet them at the gate. We have several regular readers who come once or twice a week, and also visitors who come for just a day during their vacation – any involvement is much appreciated!

To sign up for the Volunteer Library Reader Program at the Cesar Mendoza school located mid-island, click here: Cesar Mendoza at SignUp.com and to sign up for the program at Andres Quintana Roo school located downtown, click here: Andres Quintana Roo at Signup.com

You may sign in with Facebook or your email address. Select the day and time you would like to volunteer to read to the children and click “Sign Up!”. A VolunQuest staff member will contact you.

Please contact us at info@volunquest.com if you have additional questions.

Thank you!
