Volunteer as a Library Reader!
VolunQuest invites foreign residents and visitors to participate as library readers in the primary public schools. Come and read to the students during their 30 minute recess/lunch period at the schools where we teach. Library Time gives our students authentic opportunities to practice their new language skills and interact with native English speakers, while offering you a safe and appropriate way to visit and interact with the local children. The students adore our library readers and often flock to meet them at the gate. We have several regular readers who come once or twice a week, and also visitors who come for just a day during their vacation – any involvement is much appreciated!

You may sign in with Facebook or your email address. Select the day and time you would like to volunteer to read to the children and click “Sign Up!”. A VolunQuest staff member will contact you.
Please contact us at email@example.com if you have additional questions.
VolunQuest and the English program in the public schools survive off of the kindness of our visitors. If you are planning to visit Isla Mujeres, Cancun, or the Riviera Maya in the near future and would like to contribute material donations to one of our multiple programs, please feel free to contact us for more information on what is needed. This is our permanent wish list of items that we are consistently in need of in order of importance.
